At DebOcean Freediving, we focus on teaching freediving with care, safety, and genuine passion. Our goal is to help people feel comfortable in the water and enjoy the ocean at their own pace. The school is led by Debora and Giorgio, two dedicated instructors who guide students from their very first breath-hold all the way to advanced and even instructor-level training. With their combined experience as athletes and educators, they create a learning environment that is calm, supportive, and welcoming to everyone—whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to grow further in your freediving journey.

DEBORA CELEDIO
MASTER FREEDIVING INSTRUCTOR & ELITE ATHELETE
Debora is an AIDA and Molchanovs Master Instructor and one of the most accomplished young freedivers in the Philippines. Once a non-swimmer with trauma in 2018, she transformed her life through freediving, Today, she stands as a freediving athlete ranked among the Top 7 female freedivers in the country. Debora also achieved a CMAS national record in No-Fins (CNF) during the prestigious CMAS Depth competition. In 2023, she earned the title of the first and youngest Aquaqueen of the Universe, showcasing her excellence both underwater and within the freediving community. Beyond teaching and competing, she is an underwater videographer, capturing the ocean’s beauty with skill and artistry.
Proudly, Debora is the first and youngest Boholana freediving instructor in Panglao, Bohol, inspiring divers of all ages to explore the underwater world safely and confidently.
GIORGIO MARIOTTI
Instructor Trainer & Elite Freediving Athlete
Giorgio is an AIDA Instructor Trainer and a dedicated freediving athlete known for his precision, discipline, and passion for the sport. As an Instructor Trainer, he is qualified to teach, mentor, and certify future freediving instructors, ensuring the next generation enters the industry with exceptional skills and strong safety foundations.
As an athlete, Giorgio has achieved remarkable success, holding the #1 overall male ranking in Italy—a testament to his performance, technique, and commitment to continuous improvement.
With years of experience teaching both recreational and professional-level students, Giorgio is recognized for his calm, structured, and highly effective coaching style. Whether guiding beginners through their first breath-hold or preparing advanced divers for instructor-level mastery, he brings a level of expertise that ensures every student progresses with confidence and safety.
